Story
Welcome to Goodfriend Design! We are Jennifer and Derek Goodfriend, two creatives who found each other and embarked on a journey to combine our artistic talents and passions. Thank you for stopping by our site! With a love for exploring nature and the principles of biophilic design, we take the scenic route to discover the nation's artisans, transforming spaces into beautiful and inspiring places to live, work, or play. Together we started Goodfriend Design which is an outlet for us to work for ourselves, help clients, and still be creative. We would love to chat with you about your art or design needs.

Jennifer has worked in the interior design and art consulting industry for over 20 years. She has many relationships with artisans, designers, manufacturers, and happy clients. She truly believes if you work doing what you love, then you never work a day in your life!

Derek had a long career in commercial millwork but developed lupus which caused him to slow down and find a less physically demanding career. He works as a commercial driver in addition to his artisanal wood working.
