Shipping Policy

Shipping Policy

Goodfriend Design partners with trusted third-party art installers and freight companies to arrange delivery of artwork. Because each piece is custom and often requires special handling, shipping and installation arrangements may vary by project.

1. Delivery Methods

  • We may drop ship directly from our studio or vendors.

  • We may coordinate with professional art installers or third-party freight companies for delivery and installation, depending on the size and complexity of the artwork.

  • Delivery timelines will be communicated to clients prior to shipment or installation.

2. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients (or their designated representatives) must be available to receive and inspect all deliveries at the scheduled time.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that delivery and installation access (such as elevators, doorways, or wall preparation) is arranged in advance.

3. Inspection & Reporting

  • All shipments must be inspected upon delivery.

  • Any visible or concealed damage must be reported to Goodfriend Design in writing within 5 business days of delivery.

  • Claims must include supporting photographs of the damage.

  • If damage is not reported within 5 business days, we cannot guarantee eligibility for replacement, repair, or claims with the shipper.

4. Shipping Costs & Insurance

  • Shipping, delivery, and installation costs will be estimated in your quote or invoice. Actual shipping fees will be calculated at the time of shipment and due in your final invoice.

  • Insurance may be included or offered as an add-on, depending on the delivery method. Please confirm with us in advance if additional coverage is required.

5. Limitations of Liability

Once artwork has been delivered and accepted, Goodfriend Design is not responsible for any loss, damage, or mishandling occurring after delivery or installation.
